Dr Madhavi Panda

Dr. Madhavi Panda leads Chronic Care Foundation as the Chief Executive Officer, based in New Delhi. A sociologist and a demographer by training, Madhavi has been associated with Chronic Care Foundation for the past several years as technical advisor and consultant. She has a Master’s degree in Sociology (Andhra University, Vizag), Masters in Population Sciences, MPhil and PhD from International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai. She possesses more than 20 years of wide-ranging experience in population and public health research. Madhavi has worked with various national and international NGOs such as IPPF, HDRN-UNDP, PATH and International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.

Having a firm grounding in the public health and NCD spaces, Madhavi has contributed to research and program management and has a vast repertoire of commissioned works across the spectrum. She has been a consultant with PHFI, Population Council, USAID, JICA, NIPI-UNOPS, GIZ and Royal Norwegian Embassy focusing on maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, profiling populations at risk, providing technical assistance, direction and insight on their programs. She has been a Fellow at Asia Pacific Leadership Program, 2010-11, East West Center, Honolulu, USA. She is also the Founder and Director of a non-profit called Parinaama Development Foundation, which she set up in 2012, to focus on establishing social enterprises as solutions to sustainable healthy living.

Shiva Prasad Pahari

Shiva is  Finance & Administration Officer at Chronic Care Foundation.  Prior to this he was working with Human Rights Law Network, among others. He has worked in several private sector firms and has capacity to  handle large budgets across multiple projects. A commerce graduate, he has more than 20 years’ experience in handling finance and office administration activities. He has been handling independent projects and is proficient in specialized software such as Tally and MS Office. He also supports a nonprofit organization called Parinaama Development Foundation as a volunteer staff.

Ms. Swati Sharma

A post-graduate in Bio-Technology and Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Hospital Management from IIHMR, Swati brings in work experience of more than 8 years in research and field training. Swati has been closely working with the Chronic Care Foundation team supporting in all background research, data analysis and other documentation from time to time.
